Deena Deemas
ABOUT
I'm Deena and I work at the intersection of body, relationship, and culture.

Why I do this work.
I didn't come to this work because I read about it in a textbook. I came to it because I lived it. I know what it's like to carry something your mind has "moved past" but your body hasn't. I know what it's like to be told you should be fine, and to wonder why you're not.
I also know what it feels like when something finally shifts. Not in your understanding. In your body. In your breath. In the way you show up to the people you love.
That shift is what I help my clients find. That’s what led me to somatic work. And that’s what I offer the people I work with now, the thing I wish someone had offered me years earlier.
HOW I WORK
My approach is grounded, precise, and culturally informed.
Body-Based
We don't just talk about what happened. We work with how your body is still responding to it — the tension, the shutdown, the reactivity.
Relational
Healing doesn't happen in isolation. We work with the patterns showing up in your relationships because that's where the real shifts are felt.
Culturally Grounded
I understand the weight of family systems, faith, duty, and cultural expectation. You don't have to explain your context. I already get it.
Attuned.
No endless processing. We work with your pace, what feels right for you, and how much your system can hold. Most clients feel a meaningful shift within a couple of sessions.
